I like the love and respect that goes along with the opinions, differences and disagreements... which is probably the lesson and point of this. It's a real pain though to see you both struggle trying to make sense out of what Trump says and his actions as well as those of his unfit cabinet and surrogates abroad. He seems to not be in control or even care about what they do. They have been vetted and he stands by them. There has been talk about Hegseth having to go.. and now Noem.. actually they all need to....RFK,JR. (see the cover of The Atlantic). But it's Trump himself that is the issue- where the buck stops. Pardon me if I say that Kamala Harris would have made a decent president for all else that could be complained about her. We would not be here in this precarious moment had she won. She did not lose by all that much.
They say to people who have serious trouble, and it might be said to our nation, what does not kill, makes you stronger. Let's hope we learn from this and do some fixing. It will take more than hope. Thank you for your generosity Elise.
